As event planners we have the opportunity to not only work with amazing corporate and private clients but we also can make a difference partnering with incredible non-profits. With so many worthwhile causes, it is wonderful when we can have an impact on their success. This year we teamed up with JFCS of San Francisco, the Peninsula, Marin and Sonoma Counties, the oldest and largest social service agency on the West Coast. The JFCS of the Bay Area serves over 70,000 people a year through over 40 programs, making sure that no one has to face hard times alone.
We were very proud to provide our design and event planning services to this year’s annual fundraisers including the 15th Annual Émigré Community Gala held on January 23, 2016 at the Westin St. Francis hotel in San Francisco and the Fammy Awards Gala, which took place on February 27, 2016 at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in San Francisco and had over 600 attendees. We were honored to design and implement the vision for the fundraiser auction in order to create an enticing and elegant visual ambiance that would inspire generous bidding.
The 2016 Fammy Awards Gala was an amazing success and it raised more than $1 million to support those in need in the community. This year, the funds raised will be used to help frail seniors (including delivery of food to the homebound and providing transportation), provide counseling and educational programs for teens and children in need, as well as help victims of domestic violence and families in crisis.
